50” Plasma with wall bracket or floor stand £200.00

An excellent quality 50” Plasma Screen from Pioneer. Whilst
most larger screens are NEC branded, the technology on the 50” Pioneer
gives it the edge over its rivals. Pioneer 50” screens have
also gained considerable accreditation with high-end home cinema
applications because of the way they reproduce remarkably bright
and high-contrast pictures while maintaining a high level of resolution.
61” Plasma with wall bracket or floor stand £380.00
per day
When you want big, this does it. A full 61 inches of Plasma Screen
but still using a single pane of glass. Its true there are larger
screens around, but often these are made from several smaller screens,
simply ‘butt jointed’ ate the edges to imitate a large
screen. This screen from NEC used none of those tricks and also
offers an excellent price versus performance ratio. NEC screens
are the firm favourite for demanding rental applications and offer
a tremendous balance of functionality, good looks and reliability.
Plasma / LCD Floor Stand (no charge if used with one the
above)
A sturdy good looking and functional floor stand by Unicol. Allowing
use of a large screen on otherwise difficult situations, the most
common one being shell scheme stands where fixing to walls is not
possible. Height to centre is around 1.6 metres. The height at
the top of the screen varies of course with the size of the screen,
but these should be considered as placing the screen at normal
eye level.
A small shelf (approx 300mm square) can be added to this stand,
if required, suitable for a mini DVD player or perhaps a laptop.
DVD & Video Players

A clever little mini DVD player that’s only about 9 inches
square, but with a huge appetite for discs. Plays the following
disc types:

Auto rewind and replay VHS player £35.00 per day
This VHS video player from JVC features Hi-Fi stereo sound and
an auto-rewind and replay system. This will rewind and replay
your tape from one simple command. A very useful idea.
Laptops
Pentium 4 Laptops £80.00 per day
Well-specified Pentium 4 Laptops with running Microsoft XP and
Microsoft Office 2003 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access). These
are clean machines which are blanked after every use so don’t
suffer the hassle of speed killing files and personal info found
on many company laptops.

Cordless USB PowerPoint Presenter @ £15.00 per day
Cordless 2.4 GHz Presenter with built-in and programmable LCD
timer, automatic 5 and 2 minute timer vibration warnings. A generous
15 metre (50 feet) of cordless range allows you to move around
an auditorium with confidence. No software is required, just plug
in the USB receiver and it works. Built in extra features
like “launch slideshow”, “black screen” and “volume
control”, plus an integrated laser pointer. The cordless
USB mini-receiver even stores inside the device.

A stunningly clever bit of kit, which can detect which of its inputs,
has a live source on it (be that your laptop/DVD player etc.) and
then with one press of the auto set-up button, the image is focussed
and auto keystone is set – truly amazing!
Hitachi 3200 ANSI Native XGA (1024 x 768) with Optional Wide
Angle Lens
A powerful projector for use on larger screens and/or high ambient
lighting conditions. The optional clip on wide-angle lens reduces
the throw for use where space is at a premium (see below).

NEC WT600 2000 ANSI Native XGA (1024 x 768) Ultra Short
Throw
This is a very special projector, which works at unbelievably short
throw, for example, a 2m image from 66cm away! The presenter
can typically walk in front of the screen even when front projecting
as this projector sits just underneath the screen. Has to
be seen to be believed. Truly awesome!
